ShipStation, without the busywork

StoresBoost sits between Shopify and ShipStation: it syncs orders automatically, maps statuses, fields, tags, and delivery dates your way, and pushes tracking back to Shopify the moment labels print.

Up and running in three steps

1

Connect in one minute

Add your ShipStation API key and secret. StoresBoost verifies the connection live before you finish setup.

2

Map statuses, fields, and tags

Use the visual mapping editor to translate your data into what ShipStation expects — or keep the sensible defaults.

3

Ship on autopilot

Orders sync to ShipStation continuously, ship events flow back, and Shopify tracking updates itself.

Everything your ShipStation workflow needs

Built for teams who fulfill through ShipStation but need more control over what gets there and how.

Field mapping that you control

Map every order field — addresses, SKUs, weights, bin locations, notes, shipping service — to exactly the ShipStation field your warehouse expects. Per-store overrides included.

Status sync both ways

Awaiting, on hold, shipped, cancelled — statuses map to ShipStation statuses and stay in sync as shipments move. Holds propagate instantly so held orders never ship.

Automatic tag mapping

Match your order tags to real ShipStation account tags. Rush orders, fragile items, priority customers — the right flags travel with every order.

Delivery dates & ship-by dates

Ship-by and delivery dates flow into ShipStation so the queue is sorted the way your warehouse actually works. Pull dates from order metafields if that is where they live.

Tracking back to Shopify

ShipStation ship events return via webhooks: shipments are marked shipped, partial fulfillments are split automatically, and tracking numbers sync to Shopify for customer notifications.

Merge-aware syncing

StoresBoost merges shipments to the same customer before they reach ShipStation, and cancels the superseded orders there — fewer labels, lower shipping spend.

ShipStation integration FAQ

How does StoresBoost connect to ShipStation?

You paste your ShipStation API key and secret once. StoresBoost verifies the credentials live during setup, then keeps your shipments flowing to ShipStation automatically — no CSV exports, no manual re-entry.

Which order fields sync to ShipStation?

Order number, customer name and email, ship-to and bill-to addresses, line items with SKUs, barcodes, weights and bin locations, shipping service, order notes, ship-by dates, and shipping amounts. Every field can be remapped per store with the visual mapping editor.

Can I map my order statuses and tags to ShipStation?

Yes. Status mappings translate your shipment statuses to ShipStation statuses (awaiting shipment, on hold, cancelled, and more), and tag mappings apply your ShipStation account tags to matching orders automatically.

What happens when I put an order on hold?

The hold syncs to ShipStation as an on-hold order with a hold-until date, so your warehouse never ships something you paused. Releasing the hold moves it back to awaiting shipment automatically.

Does tracking flow back to Shopify?

Yes. When ShipStation ships an order, the webhook comes back to StoresBoost, the shipment is marked shipped with carrier and tracking details, and the tracking number syncs to Shopify — including partial shipments, which are split automatically.

Do merged or split shipments work with ShipStation?

Yes. When StoresBoost merges shipments for the same customer, the merged shipment replaces the originals in ShipStation and the old ones are cancelled — no duplicate labels, no double shipping cost.
